Happy Mother’s Day! 今年的母親節快要到囉，想好今年要如何幫媽媽慶祝母親節了嗎？今天就先來練習和送母親節禮物相關的英語會話吧！
【BUYING A MOTHER'S DAY GIFT】
Jessie: Mike, we need to talk about what to get Mom for Mother's Day.
Mike: Well, a card obviously. And I was thinking maybe we could get her a bunch of carnations.
Jessie: Yeah, but we get her that every year. How about we get her a different gift this year?
Mike: I don't mind getting her something else, but I think we should still get carnations because, you know, it's a tradition.
Jessie: Well, I was thinking of getting her a nice scarf. I saw a really beautiful cashmere one that I think she'll love.
Mike: All right. I'll get the card and the flowers, and you pick up the scarf. We can figure out the total amount and split it later.
Jessie: Sounds good to me.
【購買母親節禮物】
潔西：麥克，我們得討論母親節禮物要買什麼。
麥克：嗯，卡片是一定要的，我在想也許我們可以送她一束康乃馨。
潔西：好啊，但我們每年都送她這個，我們今年送她不同的禮物如何？
麥克：我不介意送她不同的禮物，但我還是覺得我們應該要送她康乃馨，因為妳知道的，這是傳統。
潔西：好，那麼我想我們可以送她不錯的圍巾，我之前有看到一條很美的羊毛圍巾，我想她應該會很喜歡。
麥克：好啊，那我負責準備卡片和花，妳去買圍巾，我們之後看總共花了多少錢再一起分。
潔西：聽起來還不錯。
