T：Pretty small. There are only four of us: my parents, my sister, and me.

K：That's small, all right. Are you the elder child?

那的確是個小家庭。你是較年長的嗎？

T：No. My sister is two years older than me.

不是。我姐姐年紀比我大2 歲。

K：How old is your father?

你爸爸幾歲了？

T：He's 63, but still going strong.

63 歲，但身體還很硬朗。

K：What does he do?

你父親從事什麼工作？

T：He's a bookstore manager.

他是個書店經理。

K：What about your mother?

你母親呢？

T：She was a teacher, but she's retired now.

她之前是老師，但現在退休了。

★  Don't come home late. 不准太晚回家。

Dad：Where are you going, Susan?

蘇珊，你要去哪裡？

Susan：I’m going to meet some friends, Dad.

爸，我要去找幾個朋友。

Dad：Don’t come home late. Your curfew is nine o’clock.

不准太晚回家，你的門禁是9點。

Mom：Susan is 16 years old. She’s not a baby. She always comes home early.

蘇珊已經16 歲了，又不是小孩子。她一向都很早回家的。

Dad：Oh, all right! But please come home before ten.

哦，好吧。但是一定要在10點以前回家。

Susan：Yes, Dad. Thanks, Mom.

好的，爸。謝啦，媽咪。

Mom：That’s all right, dear. Goodbye. Enjoy yourself!
