K: Barbara, my computer is really slow to start up. There must be something I can do to get it cleaned up.
芭芭拉，我的電腦開機很慢，一定有辦法能清理吧。

B: I bet there are a lot of unnecessary programs on that computer. You could uninstall some of them. Use the add/remove programs option.
我猜是電腦裡有很多用不到的程式。妳可以用「新增／移除」的選項來解除安裝。

K: Yes, I'll take a look at that. But there are a lot of programs I don't really need that open when I start up.
好，我會看看。不過我開機時，很多用不到的程式都會跟著打開。

B: I can take a look at your startup settings later, if you want.

K: That would be terrific. No rush.

B: OK, I'll come by later. In the meantime, run a virus scan, make sure you aren't running more than one messenger service at once, and start a disk defrag.
