Ann is overwhelmed and talking to her colleague about her problems.

G: How are you doing, Ann?

A: Honestly, I'm at the end of my rope.

G: Is the project getting to you?

A: Yes, but it shouldn't be! We've done other projects like this before and they went fine. I just feel like everything is piling up right now. I know that you and Katharine are pulling your weight, but I feel like Caroline's given me more than I can be expected to handle.

G: I think that Caroline's made the schedule too tight. We're all frazzled, but you're shouldering the bulk of the workload and there just might not be enough time to get it all done. Something's got to give.

A: Yes—and right now, it's my sanity! I'm going to have to talk to Caroline about my workload. Maybe she'll assign someone to help me out—though I can't think who.
