J: I'm glad you could come—and you're in for a treat. This is a great place.

L: Great! What do you recommend?

J: I always like to hear what the specials are first, since I find they're always delicious. Otherwise, the tenderloin is terrific, as is the rack of lamb.
我通常會先詢問特餐是什麼，因為我發現特餐通常很美味。不然菲力牛排還是羊小排也很棒。

L: I don't eat meat. Do they offer a good vegetarian option?
我不吃肉，餐廳有供應美味的素食選擇嗎？

J: Oh, certainly. They've got great pastas, for example.
當然有。像他們的義大利麵就很好吃。

L: Terrific. Now, why did you want to meet here, Jared? I haven't made any changes to my orders. Have you had something up your sleeve?
太好了。好了，傑瑞德，說說你怎麼約在這裡吧？我又沒改訂單，你葫蘆裡賣的是什麼藥？

J: Ha, no, not at all. It's just been a while since we sat down and I was hoping to get an informal account update from you. What's new in the office?

L: Oh, nothing really. It looks like Cindy might be leaving, but that's all up in the air...
其實沒有什麼事。只是欣蒂好像要離職了，但還沒確定……
